When Racquel isn't acting, you will find her painting or writing. She finds painting to be very therapeutic in between roles. Desiring a platform to share her inspirational writings, Racquel has created a blog called Purposely You. She wanted to inspire and help people find the purpose within themselves.

Racquel Bianca John is an American actress, who was born in Bronx, New York, but raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Racquel isn't the only actor of her siblings. She is related to the actor Isaiah John.

In 2011, While accompanying her brother, Isaiah John, to his audition, she was encouraged to audition for one of the roles. With some coaching from her mother, she landed her first role as the lead in the independent film. This opportunity sparked her interest to become an actor.

Racquel delved into acting lessons and classes before auditioning for other roles. She wanted to understand, respect, and develop her craft as an actor. Racquel spent time in Los Angeles, taking classes and signing with a commercial LA agent. Her desire to know more about the craft brought her to a school in Atlanta called Alchemy of Acting. It was there where she had the pleasure and opportunity to learn from acting coach Carl Ford. Studying at The Alchemy of Acting has broadened her horizon not only for the craft but herself as a person.
